Compensation: $82,600 to $157,300

Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years related experience with S&TI of foreign Special Mission Aircraft or comparable experience with U.S. military special mission aviation, avionics, airborne reconnaissance platforms, or airborne battle management platforms.
Required Experience:
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required. (or recently de-activated TS/SCI within the past 2 years)
- Experience with SIGINT or NASIC
- Experience performing classified and unclassified research on performance, characteristics, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of aviation subjects.
- Experience with written all-source assessments that meet ICD 203 and NASIC or other IPC analytical tradecraft standards.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience identifying datalink and communications systems critical to the operation and functionality of Special Mission Aircraft is a plus.
- Professional experience with Special Mission Aircraft preferred.
- Specific experience providing written all-source assessments that meet both ICD 203 and NASIC or other Intelligence Production Center (IPC) analytical tradecraft standards regarding characteristics, performance, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of foreign aviation subjects is highly desirable.
Job Highlights: We are looking for someone who has prior intelligence analysis experience against the foreign Special Mission Aircraft or who has flown on/maintained/helped to procure U.S. Special Mission Aircraft. This person would be performing classified and unclassified research on performance, characteristics, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of aviation subjects. This person would be compiling data from all sources of intelligence, writing specific assessments on special mission aircraft..

- Ability to effectively collaborate with intelligence community partners

- Ability to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of data (which may be fragmented and contradictory) into high quality, fused targeting/intelligence products.

Tasks:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis in order to produce timely, fused, all-source intelligence products (e.g., threat assessments, briefings, intelligence studies, country studies).
- Answer requests for information and generate requests for information.
- Provide subject matter expertise on foreign special mission aircraft.
- Assist in the coordination, validation, and management of all-source collection requirements, plans, and/or activities.
- Assist in the identification of intelligence collection shortfalls.
- Brief threat and/or target current situations.
- Collaborate with intelligence analysts/targeting organizations involved in related areas.
- Develop information requirements necessary for answering priority information requests.
- Engage customers to understand customers' intelligence needs and wants.
- Identify and submit intelligence requirements for the purposes of designating priority information requirements.
- Identify intelligence gaps and shortfalls.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and support to planning/developmental forums and working groups as appropriate.
- Provide current intelligence support to critical internal/external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Provide evaluation and feedback necessary for improving intelligence production, intelligence reporting, collection requirements, and operations.
