PAY RATE: $32.31/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: 1st

Summary:
Under moderate supervision, fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and create simple patterns for aircraft interiors based on design/engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform upholstery tasks according to design, customer, FAA, and specifications.
Complete installation and trim tasks as per work orders and specifications.
Fit panels, windows, cabin headliners, sidewalls, carpets, and bulkheads.
Create and install carpet patterns.
Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, and sign-offs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Entry-level position.
Preferred: Experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and tools used in upholstery and carpet trades.
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
Skilled with measuring tools and basic math.
Computer literate.
Able to climb ladders, work in restricted spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.
