Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: Weekend night shift

Summary:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with moderate to advanced complexity under minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively to understand and execute assignments.
Perform advanced aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications independently.
Ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation standards in coordination with MTL, STM, and Inspection teams.
Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other required documentation on time.
Maintain quality standards and support shift turnovers as needed.
Tag, store, and secure customer property and components properly.
Operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs) following safety protocols.
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
Safely collect and dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids).
Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S and Lean principles.
Properly use and maintain company tools, returning them to storage after use.
Follow all safety procedures, addressing risks proactively.
Utilize material tracking systems to manage parts, labor, and work orders.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience (including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft).
Valid Driver’s License required.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station manuals, process specifications, and company policies.
Commitment to safety and quality, with the ability to identify and address unsafe conditions.
This role requires advanced technical expertise and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure the safety, reliability, and quality of aircraft maintenance operations.
