Summary:
-
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with moderate to advanced complexity under minimal supervision.

Communicate effectively to understand and execute work assignments.
-
Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal oversight.
-
Ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation requirements in coordination with MTL, STM, and Inspection teams.

Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and documentation accurately and on time.
-
Maintain quality standards in all tasks and assist with shift turnovers as needed.

Properly tag, store, and secure customer property and equipment.
-
Operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs) following standard procedures.

Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians.
-
Collect and dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids) properly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area by applying 6S and Lean principles.

Use and maintain company tools and equipment, returning items to storage after use.

Follow all safety regulations and address unsafe conditions proactively.

Use the material tracking system for parts demand, tracking squawks, labor charges, and work order updates.

Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.

This position ensures high-quality maintenance and compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.

Valid Driver’s License.

Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, repair station manuals, and company policies.

Ability to identify and mitigate risks to ensure the safety of people and property.
