• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

• Shift: 2nd

Summary: 

• Under supervision, the Aircraft Technician I performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on basic aircraft systems and structures.

• Communicate effectively to understand work assignments.

• Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with guidance.

• Assist in aircraft movement and complete work documentation (CMP cards, work orders) in a timely manner.

• Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.

• Properly tag customer property and store components safely.

• Operate ground support equipment (power carts, forklifts, etc.) following SOPs.

• Use material tracking system to manage parts demand and labor charges.

• Dispose of waste fluids and materials properly.

• Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean work areas.

• Maintain company tools and equipment and return them after use.

• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.

• May participate in flight tests as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
