Summary: 

• Performing various structural assembly operations, including sheetmetal fabrication, riveting, and fitting parts to aircraft according to design specifications.

• The technician ensures high-quality, defect-free assembly while following safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of related structural assembly experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.

• Basic computer skills and shop math.

• Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., riveting guns, pneumatic drills).

• Familiarity with composite resins and materials.

• Good attention to detail and safety practices.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

• Must be able to work any shift.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam.

• Ability to make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT) and Material Review Requests (MRR).

• Experience in Lean activities and 5S program.
