JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic II

Job Details:

Summary: 

• Perform structural assembly operations, including drilling, riveting, and sheet metal fabrication, in a production environment under minimal supervision.

• Tasks include interpreting blueprints, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety practices while working with various tools and materials.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of related structural assembly experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, lofts, and work orders.

• Proficiency with tools for drilling, riveting, and forming complex configurations.

• Basic computer skills and shop math abilities.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

• Strong attention to detail, hands-on aptitude, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ability to work any shift and communicate in English.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems.

• Familiarity with composite resins and materials.

• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
