They are seeking an Aircraft Parts Reverse Engineer in Richmond Heights, OH, to lead and contribute their expertise in mechanical aircraft components—fuel pumps, pistons, relief valves, seals, bearing plates, impellers, and more. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Aircraft Parts Reverse Engineer position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial aircraft industry, preferably with aftermarket and PMA experience.
• Expertise in SolidWorks (2D & 3D) and application of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) standards.
• Reverse engineering experience, including CMM, Comparator, Vision System, OD/ID gages, and height gauges.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft materials, standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to analyze schematics, exploded views, and technical data to determine critical part characteristics.
• Conduct material lab analysis and inspection of OEM parts to specify appropriate tolerances and materials.
• Lead engineering change orders, create test procedures, and support PMA component development.
• Provide technical guidance to designers, coordinate drawing activities, and collaborate with suppliers.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
