Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team on a Contract-To-Hire basis in Perryville. This mid-level position requires a maximum of 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of aircraft painting techniques and be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on various aircraft parts and surfaces.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of aircraft painting techniques.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on all painted surfaces.
• Ability to work with various types of paint, including knowledge of mixing and application processes.
• Understanding of safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Color matching skills to achieve the desired appearance and finish.
• Experience with spray guns and other painting equipment.

• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques to ensure optimal paint adherence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning prior to painting.
• Mix and apply various types of paints and primers according to specifications.
• Match colors and apply finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic and protective requirements.
• Use spray guns and other painting equipment to apply paint in an even and controlled manner.
• Inspect surfaces for completeness and ensure all painted areas meet quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to efficiently complete painting projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
