Role Overview:
As the A&P Mechanic Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our maintenance facility. This position is ideal for someone looking to take on a leadership role while overseeing a team of skilled mechanics. You’ll ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet, including Cessnas and Cirrus aircraft, and be an integral part of our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations in the shop.
- Train and mentor less experienced mechanics, promoting skill development.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance meets safety and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the director of maintenance and other staff for smooth operations.
- Manage the increasing maintenance needs as our fleet grows from 21 to 25 aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair avionics and sheet metal issues on general aviation aircraft.
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an A&P mechanic.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of general aviation maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations.
- Experience troubleshooting avionics and sheet metal issues.
- Commitment to high safety and compliance standards.
