About the Job
Job Purpose:
Maintains aircraft airworthiness by inspecting and sealing fuel cells and components.
Duties:
* Leak check aircraft, identify fuel leaks aircraft and perform leak analysis.
* Maintains fuel system components by conducting inspections; removing, cleaning, and replacing components; installing safety equipment.
* Repairs fuel by identifying and sealing leaks using appropriate sealants.
* Repair integral fuel tanks by removing and installing fasteners; conducting inspections; identifying and sealing leaks. Remove and reinstall fuel cells.
* Keeps supplies ready by placing orders.
* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by completing annual pulmonary function tests; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records per FAA and Certified repair station procedures.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
