Job Overview
As an Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class A), you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft fuel systems with minimal supervision. Your role is critical in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of multiple airframes while adhering to FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks according to maintenance manuals and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues across multiple airframes with limited guidance.
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed in the correct sequence and inspections are scheduled appropriately.
- Properly document all maintenance work performed and complete necessary paperwork.
- Use calibrated tools and test equipment to determine airworthiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to FAR Part 145 and 43 regulations and follow company Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
- Record time spent on tasks and communicate any safety or efficiency concerns to supervisors.
- Work flexible hours and perform tasks in confined spaces as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple airframes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
