JOB TITLE: Aircraft Final Line Mechanic III
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)
Shift: 2nd

Summary:
Perform complex aircraft installations and repairs, ensuring all parts meet requirements.
Manage parts and disposition with proper documentation.
Instruct team members on blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders.
Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow.
Ensure quality and efficiency in own installations, making repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems.
Update logs and records.
Plan and organize workloads and resource requirements.
Maintain a clean work area and comply with safety regulations.
Demonstrate manufacturing competencies and support continuous improvement.
May include flight tests for certification and final phase testing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
5 years aerospace/aviation or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., auto mechanics, heavy equipment).
2 years aircraft experience preferred.
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
Ability to use mathematical formulas and solve dimensional problems.
Proficient in measuring devices and working within specified tolerances.
Production Quality training.
Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools.
Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps, tools, fixtures, and jigs.
Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
