Summary:
-
Install, assemble, and adjust aircraft parts, components, and systems to meet operational and quality requirements.
-
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Assist junior mechanics as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
3+ years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
-
Skilled in close tolerance work (drilling, reaming, fitting parts, etc.).

Proficiency with tools like hydraulic mule pumps, permaswage pumps, line cutting tools, and precision gauges.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in restricted spaces.
Desired Skills
-
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license.
-
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems.
-
Flight test support experience.

Ability to operate fixtures, jigs, and other specialized tools.

Knowledge of FOD and 5S programs.
