Summary: 

• Preparing and applying finishes to aircraft furniture using industry specifications and engineering designs.

• Responsibilities include performing high-quality surface repairs, applying finishes with various tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Collaboration with experienced technicians is encouraged to enhance skills and implement process improvements.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 2 years of wood finishing experience.

• Aerospace industry experience preferred.

• Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.

• Proficiency in using finishing tools, materials, and equipment.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of safety and Lean Six Sigma practices.

• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Must be computer literate and proficient in English.
