Summary
You will serve as an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Leader (Expert) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY.
You will serve as an Expert Air Conditioning Equipment (ACE) Mechanic leading a group to ensure work assignments are completed. This position is located in the Air Conditioning Equipment Shop 56.

Duties
- You will serve as an Expert Air Conditioning Equipment (ACE) Mechanic performing maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, installation, modification, and testing of new and existing shipboard refrigeration systems and components.
- You will work in accordance with developed technical direction including blueprints and sketches to plan and layout the routing and placement of various system components and equipment.
- You will exercise leadership skills to mentor, demonstrate new techniques and instruct ACE employees in a wide range of complex repairs and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment.
- You will work to continuously to improve trade processes and keep shop personnel and management apprised of new technologies, procedures and tooling improvements associated with shop work.
