Responsibilities
**Overview** **:**
The Ain Center for Entrepreneurship seeks a collaborative and energetic individual to oversee the development and implementation of programming and events for the Ain Center. The Senior Program Manager is a self-starter who creates and executes activities and events among internal and external audiences in line with the strategic plan of the University-wide entrepreneurship initiative. The position will supervise a Program Coordinator and a student worker in an Office Assistant position.
**Responsibilities include** **:**
+ Developing and implementing programs in line with the University-wide entrepreneurship strategic plan.
+ Managing and cultivating partner relationships across campus and in the community (i.e. High Tech Rochester).
+ Training, supporting, coaching and developing staff (one full-time Program Coordinator and a student worker).
+ Working with faculty and staff across campus to develop and enhance experiential and co-curricular entrepreneurship programming for students at all levels of study and across all disciplines.
+ Developing programs, resources and services to support aspiring student entrepreneurs at any point in their entrepreneurial journeys.
+ Overseeing the marketing and outreach to communicate Ain Center services, programs and opportunities to students and key stakeholders.
+ Coordinating assessment and reporting activities to establish and capture metrics, usage satisfaction and impact.
+ Enhancing collaboration with external partners, donors, and alumni, and across disciplines.
+ Representing the Ain Center across campus, the region and the nation.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
**Qualifications** **:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in a higher education setting or a comparable combination of education and experience.
+ Demonstrated passion and commitment to working with and mentoring students.
+ Familiarity with best practices in entrepreneurship higher education and programming.
+ Evidence of being a self-starter with an ability to develop and lead new programs, services and resources.
+ Proven effectiveness working with students, faculty, and staff across disciplines and groups.
+ Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
+ Strong skills in team dynamics and comfort in working with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to promote programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels.
+ High comfort level in managing ambiguity and an evolving agenda.
+ Project management skills and experience required.
+ Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to assess projects and program effectiveness.
+ Strong commitment to diversity.
+ Position requires excellent organization, attention to detail and project management skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
+ The successful candidate will be creative, entrepreneurial, proactive, a self-starter, and hard-working, with a strong commitment to higher education.
+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
+ Familiarity with Mac computers preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license required.
+ Occasional travel; some evening and weekend work.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $50,752 - $71,053 Annually
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
