Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally working on an end-user product. Working capability with one or more programming languages, such as Swift, C++, Objective C, Java, etc.
• Proven strong product mindset, with focus on building the best experience for the end-user.
• Proven track record of architecting performant scalable software, ideally both client and server side.
• Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional and multi-team projects.
• Proven technical leadership, education, and team mentorship.
• Solid fundamentals in OO design, patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with machine learning and data science.

Join Apple's Siri International team as a Senior Software Engineer to deliver the best Siri experience around the world. We are involved in bringing innovative solutions to complex engineering issues, with an international flavor. From Speech Recognition to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Big Data consumption all the way to Speech Synthesis. Be ready to architect and develop robust scalable systems for Siri international languages jointly with all these teams. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Working closely with the Siri NLP, Platform, Tools and International teams, in a multi-functional environment, to implement quality products that meet the business goals. - Lead the design of everything from core Siri architecture to engineering tools, user interactions and processes with international in mind. - Build ambitious engineering plans to achieve international excellence for Siri customers around the world.

Education & Experience

M.S. or Phd in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
