As an AI Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to developing AI solutions, models, and algorithms leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities
Data Collection and Preprocessing:
- Gather and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
- Clean and transform data to ensure it is suitable for analysis and model training.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
Research and Experimentation:
- Conduct research on state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
- Assist in development of new methodologies and innovative solutions.
- Experiment with different approaches to solve complex problems in AI in Construction.
- Test and validate prototypes in real-world scenarios to assess their performance.
Model Development and Implementation:
- Assist in developing and training generative AI models and machine learning algorithms.
- Implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms using programming languages like Python or R.
- Fine-tune pre-trained models to improve performance for specific tasks.
- Evaluate model performance using various metrics and techniques.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics of Physics.
- Very strong Python/R programming skills.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and their applications.
- Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning (AzureML) and Databricks Analytics Platform is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and apply new skills at the intersection of building Construction and AI
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
