Aggregate Plant Operator - Calportland

The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of fixed and mobile equipment in an aggregate plant, as well as maintenance and repairs of fixed equipment.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

• Conduct daily inspections of plant and mobile equipment.
• Maintain records related to safety, production, and maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and haul trucks.
• Assist in maintenance tasks including repairs and adjustments.
• Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

High school diploma/GED required.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with aggregates and construction materials.
• Experience with aggregate plant equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work in various conditions.
• Current MSHA training certification preferred.
• Welding and cutting experience is a plus.
