About the Job
The Agency Services Relationship Representative is accountable for the daily oversight and business relationship between Plymouth Rock Assurance and independent agents who participate in various relationship partnerships. The area of focus is agencies enrolled in an Agency Services program, which includes Service Center, Remarketing, and Sales Development Program. Responsibilities include enrolling new independent agencies, reporting key service level outcomes, implementing and monitoring various sales programs, and training agencies on service features.
Our Agency Services team plays a crucial role in managing and delivering key agency focused programs across our six-state footprint. We provide sales enablement tools, resources, training, and offer knowledge transfer and guidance to agent resources. We strive to be a valued extension of the agency, focusing on streamlining operations, optimizing agent performance, and fostering strong relationships between Plymouth Rock Assurance and our independent agency partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship between the Agency Services team and agencies through a combination of proactive callouts, scheduled video conferences and agency visits.
- Manage and report on production goals and commitments for each agent based on their individual action plan developed in collaboration with the Business Development Representative.
- Partner with Business Development Representative and agencies to achieve production commitments.
- Develop, implement and monitor sales programs and campaigns within each agency.
- Identify, escalate and communicate problem reports to the appropriate internal key contacts, address and resolve, and communicate the resolution to the agent.
- Develop and maintain a thorough and in-depth knowledge of all company products, services, guidelines, and procedures in order to provide training for remarketing, new and business submissions.
- Partner with BDRs to prospect new agents based on our current appointment goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 4 years of overall Insurance experience required.
- Strong Personal Lines product knowledge preferred
- Proven sales skills. Must have the ability to close or complete the sale.
- Strong communication skills both orally and written. Ability to perform presentations in a large or small group settings.
- Ability to work independently, away from the office, willingness to travel.
- Ability to interpret, assimilate, and translate data.
- Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail.
