Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of insurance agents to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and motivation to drive individual and team success.
Phone-Based Sales: Conduct high-volume phone sales calls with prospective clients to promote and sell insurance products, converting leads into active policyholders.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.
Team Development: Mentor agents on sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies to continually improve performance.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet agency goals. Continuously assess performance and adjust strategies to maximize results.
Compliance & Licensing: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and maintain the appropriate licensing requirements. Assist team members with any licensing updates or renewals.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on insurance products, industry trends, and sales tactics to continuously improve personal and team performance.
Requirements
Experience: at least 1 of experience in insurance sales, with a proven track record of success, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Phone Sales Expertise: Excellent phone communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and persuade clients over the phone.
Motivated & Driven: Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and an eagerness to continuously learn and improve.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Licensing: Must hold a valid [state-specific] insurance license (e.g., Life & Health, Property & Casualty).
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, agents, and management.
Goal-Oriented: Ability to set and achieve ambitious sales goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
