As the Loan Servicing Manager role is responsible for supporting the expansion and scale of the Agency/Off-Balance Sheet Servicing team with world-class loan servicing capabilities to enable growth in both GSE and CMBS offerings. This position will manage a team of analysts, collaborate with business leaders, GSE stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver operational excellence powered by a diverse and inclusive organization focused on driving continuous improvement and automation.
Job Summary
As a Loan Servicing Manager in the Off-Balance Sheet line of business, you will manage a team who performs loan servicing tasks on assigned portfolios of loans, interprets loan documents, and interacts with internal and external contacts. You will have oversight of deadlines, and may also lead projects that further build out the team structure and strategy.
Job Responsibilities
+ Manage a team, ensuring they are equipped with necessary skills, resources, and support to be successful in their roles. Provide guidance and coaching to drive performance.
+ Maintain metrics to measure team performance and enforce a robust quality control environment.
+ Assist in building and maintaining a servicing framework for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae products.
+ Identify process gaps and areas for process improvement, and assist in implementing solutions.
+ Work closely with WLS teams and commercial real estate business functions on operational readiness matters to ensure that anticipated time frames are met.
+ Foster a collaborative environment and be a culture leader.
+ Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ 7 years of loan servicing experience.
+ Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and coach a team.
+ Effective time management skills and ability to work on various projects simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the aptitude to build strong relationships.
+ Proficient knowledge of mortgage products, financial services, lending, and real estate compliance in addition to loan servicing standards.
+ Analytical skills, including ability to use data to make informed decisions.
+ Bachelor's Degree
