Job DescriptionBryceTech is seeking an Agency Communications Specialist to support NASA’s Technology Transfer Program. NASA’s Technology Transfer program is directed to “provide for the widest practicable and appropriate dissemination of information concerning its activities and the results thereof.” Its mission is to identify and protect NASA’s intellectual property with commercial potential and transfer those technologies through patent licensing agreements, software usage agreements, and related technology transfer partnerships with entrepreneurs, companies, universities, non-profits, business incubators and innovation ecosystems, and state and local governments. The technologies developed for NASA’s aeronautics, science, exploration, and technology development missions have alternative uses in many industries that create jobs, promote economic development, create technological advantages for United States (U.S.) companies, and improve life here on Earth.
The Agency Communications Specialist supervises and provides direction to the Agency Technology Transfer Program Coordinator. Supports the Technology Transfer Program Manager with execution and expansion of the Technology Transfer Program; weekly/monthly reports; presentations. Supports the Technology Transfer Program Manager at NASA headquarters with managing all programmatic initiatives and projects; contribute to strategy formulation and team building exercises.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote NASA technologies through direct, indirect, and hybrid marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative marketing materials and coordinate virtual events to drive industry interest in licensing opportunities.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness using Google Analytics and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with T2 program goals and timely execution
- Creates necessary marketing and reporting materials, including success stories and program reports.
- Engages in creative ideation of projects and provides recommendations to support Technology Transfer Program mission and objectives.
- Consolidates and tracks Technology Transfer Program team metrics from multiple NASA centers; follows up with Technology Transfer Program team members as needed.
- Develops, executes, and facilitates commercialization events, including virtual webinar.
- Provides activity updates to Technology Transfer Program Manager for all Technology Transfer Program activity across multiple NASA centers.
- Manages logistics for Startup NASA Feature Series; supports Technology Transfer Program Manager with company recruitment and event facilitation.
- Works in collaboration with all Technology Transfer Program team members.
- Develops high quality PowerPoint presentations and reports for NASA Technology Transfer Program Manager. Adheres to proper NASA usage guidelines and collaborates with program support graphic designer.
- Keeps track of multiple files, documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. sent from all 10 field centers and NASA headquarters – organizes, consolidates, and uploads to appropriate locations on Technology Transfer Program Microsoft Teams site.
- Participates in Technology Transfer Program staff meetings; participates in relevant Technology Transfer meetings. Assists with special studies and projects as necessary.
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years.
- Familiarity with federal technology transfer programs (preferred)
- Experience with digital marketing, market research and analysis, content design
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders to gather information and manage approval processes
- Knowledge of virtual event coordination and execution
- Strong attention to detail, proven ability to deliver on time, and ability to track multiple simultaneous projects with evolving requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10+ years relevant work experience
