Ag Equipment Instructor at Butler CAT

Butler Machinery is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Agriculture Equipment Instructor to join our team and help shape the future of our training programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct instructor led classes.
• Prepare needed materials and calendar for upcoming classes.
• Participate and assist with programs designed to encourage technician development, such as Tech Wars, Parts Wars and Summer Service Kickoff.
• Stays current on product lines and equipment systems by attending supplier classes, and doing research for new materials.  
• Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical experience with the product lines we represent.
• Certified AGCO, CLAAS/Lexion, MACS Air Conditioning, and Caterpillar CIAP certification preferred.
• Understanding of Electrical systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting
• Understanding of Hydraulics systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting
• Understanding of Powertrain systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting
• Understanding of Engine systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of computer operation and machine programing as it relates to the training responsibilities.
• Ability to read and understand professional and technical manuals, schematics and software programs.
• Must possess a clean driving record and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
