After School Instructor job responsibilities:

• Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects.
• Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

After School Instructor - job qualifications:

• Experience working with children, whether in a school, camp, or similar setting, and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management skills, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore.
• Values punctuality, reliability, and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds.

After School Instructor Schedule and Pay:

• Pay is $60 per class (classes are 1 hour long)
• We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
• All classes run in the afternoon, based on school dismissal
• Classes run Monday through Fridays with the opportunity to teach up to five classes per week or as little as one
• Classes will be taught with you and another co teacher
• Program will start late January and run for up to 12 weeks long
• Schools are part of the ABC Unified School District
