About the Role
Aesthetician and Laser Providers provide optimal customer service while delivering aesthetic and laser services and corresponding consults, in accordance with the company's consultation process, to determine the correct course of treatment based on patient concerns, goals and expectations. Provide treatments and deliver optimal clinical results by utilizing correct aesthetic techniques. Prior to all patient visits, prepare to ensure excellent service is delivered. Educate patients properly in a method they understand regarding treatment and at-home care, including prescribing effective skincare regimens. Correctly administer pre & post treatment photos. Review photos with patients to determine progress, correctly assess improvement level and determine next course of care. Keep the well-being and safety of patients first. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in Nextech. Ensure all proper paperwork is complete and provide patients with applicable pre & post treatment documents along with other educational materials. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Maintain equipment systems and supply stock levels in rooms and labs. Provide and document clinical assessment of patient's skin and treatment results. Communicate care and results with department managers and Medical Director daily. Educate and promote additional services offered by practice for those seeking guidance in achieving a more beautiful, youthful appearance through cosmetic surgery and nonsurgical procedures and skincare; build business and increase bookings through active participation in networking, community awareness, patient referrals, workshops, and events both on and off site to promote self and the medical spa. Understand and uphold the medical spa's high standards of excellence by abiding to Standard Operating Procedures and policies stated in the Employee Handbook. Each function is to be performed in accordance with government, company, and store policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Holds a valid and current Esthetician License in IL
- Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience servicing patients in the medical spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology practice.
- Solid experience providing laser treatments, at minimum two years
- Extensive knowledge of skin anatomy and laser physics
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, verbal, and written skills
- Punctual and timely with a positive attitude
- Ability to respond accordingly and in a timely fashion when directed by Medical Director and Supervisors
- Team focused demonstrating continuous hands-on support and collaboration
- Professional etiquette and appearance, with positive attitude
- Patient and customer service driven

- Understands importance of and passionate about personal and professional development
- Effective multitasking skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, computer use, general office equipment
Work Environment: Fast-paced office
Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Some Saturdays required as well as flexibility. Position requires 2 evenings per week until approximately 7:30 p.m. and 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Candidates must live within 25 miles of Vernon Hills, IL, no exceptions.
Salary: Hourly + Commission. Competitive Compensation is commensurate with experience.
