Aerospace System Safety Engineer
Type: permanent/Direct
Location: Pontiac MI - 100% onsite and no remote or hybrid is available at this time
Salary $120-170K
bonus eligible (7-11% typical)

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5+ years of experience in aerospace safety principles
Experience in conducting system safety analysis including fault tree creation, system hazard analysis, FMEA and FMECA generation, reliability disciplines and failure investigations
Knowledge and practice using MIL-STD-882, DI-SAFT-80102, and/or SAE ARP4761
Familiarity with MIL-STD-1629, DI-SESS-81495, SAE ARP5580 (SAE ARP4754) and/or ASTM F3230
Construction of fault analysis per SAE ARP926 or similar
Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of turbomachinery failure modes
Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles
