Contract 12 mos. - potential for extended term

Summary:
Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, and installation/removal in critical structural areas, including blind holes for new components.
Seal, paint, and preserve structures following standard repair processes.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and specifications for structural repairs/modifications.
Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level structural modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components and perform sheet metal and structural repairs.
Access and manage data for work instructions and parts requests via computer systems.
Operate aircraft-specific tools (e.g., torque wrenches, micrometers) and equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
Guide lower-level technicians during maintenance/modification tasks.
Required Skills:
4+ years of on-aircraft heavy structures experience.
Recent experience with VIP or specialty aircraft interiors installations.
Proficient in aircraft repair procedures, structural modifications, and technical publications.
Familiarity with aircraft-specific tools and schematics.
Ability to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (dual citizenship may restrict access).
Physically capable of ascending ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Comfortable working on elevated platforms and using protective gear.
Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
Desired Skills:
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification preferred.
