Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the growth and success of OMI by procuring high-quality materials and products efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with vendors and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
• Managing the purchase order process, including initiation, negotiation, and delivery
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and negotiating with vendors to achieve productivity targets
• Maintaining accurate records and reports in ERP to track progress and performance
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business or 2-3 years of procurement experience in the aerospace industry  
• Previous experience in the aerospace brokering, distribution, MRO, or trading industry is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Quantum Control ERP is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work in a cross-functional team environment
