About the Job
We are seeking highly motivated Aeromechanics Engineers (AEs) who are passionate about the motion of air and vehicle response. As an AE, you will focus on aerodynamics, acoustics, aeroelasticity, handling qualities, and structural dynamics across all three vehicle @types:
Fixed-Wing, Space Vehicles and Rotorcraft.
Key Requirements of Aeromechanics Engineers:
- Ph.D. in Engineering from an accredited college or university in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with an emphasis in aerodynamics, acoustics, or aeromechanics. Will consider ME or MEng with experience.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics design and computational fluid dynamic software, with a preference for people who have written their own code or at least modified other peoples’ code.
- Experience in aeroelasticity, high Reynolds number, compressible flows, and data analysis is desirable.
- Programming skills such as Fortran, C, and C++.
Key Benefits:
- Base salary is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000 per year, but higher salaries may be considered for candidates with additional experience.
