AAAZA is hiring! Looking for engaging, energetic assistant account executives who are passionate about diverse cultures. Working within our account services and experiential teams, you will support marketing and advertising initiatives that deliver actionable insights and award-winning work for our clients. Strong verbal and written English communications with Asian language expertise. Open to connecting with H-1B and OPT candidates. This is a full-time HYBRID work position in Los Angeles with the chance to work remotely from our office space in Hawaii for up to two weeks a year. Who You Are:
The Assistant Account Executive assists the team with tasks related to day-to-day account activities. Reports directly to Senior Account Executive, Account Supervisor, or Account Director depending on assignment. Supports account team to help guide projects through the Agency. May have exposure to broadcast, print, digital and collateral production. Will gain familiarity with agency processes from briefing, budgeting and ideation through execution. The Assistant Account Executive works with the account team to understand the client's products, brand, and to comprehend the strategy. He/she will gain experience with gathering data/information contributing to strategic findings and recommendations. May have some opportunity to present work internally and with clients and will gain first exposure to knowing the operations of an advertising agency.

What You'll Do:
- Supports account team having some client exposure, mostly through written correspondence and conference calls
- Proficiently written internal/external correspondence
- Responds promptly to all client and internal requests
- Establishes baseline understanding of business category trends/developments and may assist in development of competitive landscape reports, recaps, reports, and white papers
- Attends, assists and records client status meetings
- Assists account team with legal substantiation
- Gains basic understanding of advertising process
- Takes the initiative to learn client’s business and category
- Leverages a variety of sources for requested information
- Interacts with clients as needed
- Seeks opportunities to present internally
What You Bring:
- 1-2 years of agency experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required with area of study in marketing or advertising preferred
- In-culture expertise and bi-lingual Asian language speaker preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional work ethic demonstrating initiative, enthusiasm, and teamwork mentality
- Highly detailed and organized
- In-culture expertise and bi-lingual Korean language speaker is preferred
What We Offer:
