How you will make an impact:
As an Advanecd Product Engineer: Conceptualize, plan, design, prototype, test, document, commercialize and establish manufacturing for new products utilized in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, and personalized medicines and therapies. These products commonly consist of: injection molded, extruded, 3D printed, and machined polymeric parts and assemblies; machined and fabricated metallic parts and assemblies; mechanical assemblies; instrumentation, and integrated capital equipment.
- Develop unique and innovative product designs to solve identified problem statements by utilizing creative thinking and knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing methods. Account for additional factors such as designing for quantity, serviceability, maintenance, customer interaction and usability, aesthetics, and appeal.
- Manage and progress at least 3 mid-sized projects simultaneously.
- Utilize CAD skills to develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for new product designs.
- Work with Process Engineers, Internal Manufacturing Groups, Contract Manufacturers, Skilled Trade Shops, etc. to bring a product to a manufacturable state and develop processes for new products to be manufactured.
- Document - Use technical writing, documentation and organization skills to develop and maintain product manuals, specification sheets, BOM’s, build instructions, manufacturing process flows, DOE’s and test procedures.
The skills and experience you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years working experience in a similar position preferred. Applicable internships are acceptable.
- Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment.
- Must be proficient in 3D modeling software comparable to AutoDesk Inventor or Solidworks.
- Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.

US BASE PAY SCALE $88,000 - $130,000
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
