About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in our pediatric esophageal airway center, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This APP will lead a multidisciplinary team, provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with esophageal atresia as well as lead and manage the center. Clinical responsibilities will include leading clinical care and coordination, quality improvement and research. This role is essential in management and continued development of the program, working closely with the service line director and medical director to develop, implement and meet program goals, develop patient education materials, assist in marketing plans, develop care processes and protocols, track patient outcomes and managing resources to provide cost-efficient care for the patient.
The Esophageal Airway Center at Primary Children's Hospital provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula.
Part time, it's anticipated the APP will average 24 hours of work split into three shifts per week. Day time hours, there are no weekend or call expectations with this role. This role and patients are based at Primary Childrens main Salt Lake City, Utah campus.

What youll bring:
- Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification as a nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.
- Eligible for State Controlled Substance License.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Prior pediatric APP experience is highly preferred.
