Advanced Practice Provider OSF OnCall Urgent Care GIG in Morton - OSF HealthCare

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Gig Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) works in accordance with professional standards of care and adheres to the corporate philosophy of OSF HealthCare. The Gig APN shall be responsible for providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. As a Gig APN, they control their own flexibility of preferred shifts/locations and create a schedule that work for them, on their time. There is no minimum number of hours needed to work but it is limited to less than 30 hours per week. They are responsible for maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided, and maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. Also, exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum, while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients and providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Looking for Experienced APN. May be required to float between clinics as needed.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-73.68
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
• Licensed to provide either an advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act] OR [physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 ("Act") Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
• BLS/ALS Certified Experience is preferred however; new graduates will be considered.
