Responsibilities
Ascension Trinity Behavioral is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider for our Psychiatry team.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Trinity Behavioral to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:
+ Monday through Friday
+ Weekend call compensation - 1 weekend a month with compensation of $1,400.00
+ Performing H&P, mediciaton evaluation and managemt
+ Providing inpatient and outpatient, call and consultation
Responsibilities:
+ Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
+ Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
+ Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
+ Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ Master's degree of Nursing required.
