Overview
Job Summary: Candidate will join a newly formed Advanced Practice Provider pool for coverage in our various clinics across the CommonSpirit Health Texas Market.
+ The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction in a collaborative environment to provide direct patient care.
+ Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
+ Prior experience in Urgent Care setting would be beneficial but not a mandatory.
_Core Competencies for Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC)_
+ Obtain and record medical history;
+ Perform physical examinations including rectal and pelvic exams as appropriate;
+ Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to laboratory test etc. as applicable to specialty coverage;
+ Formulate a diagnosis ;
+ Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic interventions as allowed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Board of Medicine, Prescriptive Authority/Collaborative Practice Agreement, And DEA regulations ;
+ Educate and counsel patients and families according to diagnosis ;
+ Make appropriate referrals to patient and family;

Qualifications
_Education and Certifications required:_
+ Master’s degree Graduate from an approved PA or NP program;
+ Texas license,
+ National Board Certification
+ BLS (active).
_Experience_ : 1-3 Years’ experience preferred, but new grads also happily considered
Pay Range
$70 - $80 /hour
