SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Maryland Heights, Missouri. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses.

Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate referrals as needed.

Provide patient education and counseling on preventive health measures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri.

Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in a relevant specialty.

Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
