DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a dedicated and Advanced Practice Nurse with Quality Improvement experience to lead our Quality Improvement Program. This is a full-time hybrid position with 50% of time spent overseeing the Quality Improvement Program, and 50% providing patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clinical practices meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves monitoring and evaluating clinical processes, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The Clinical Quality Nurse Practitioner will work closely with all healthcare providers, pharmacist. and administrators, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care. Key responsibilities include conducting audits, analyzing data, and providing training and support to clinical staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare quality management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular audits of clinical processes and documentation.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff on quality and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrators to develop quality improvement strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on quality and compliance issues.
- Participate in the development and review of clinical policies and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of clinical incidents and develop corrective action plans.
- Stay current with clinical quality guidelines and industry best practices.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical quality metrics.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality and compliance activities.
- Present metrics, reports, graphics to Clinical Departments and Board of Directors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- Advanced Practice Practitioner
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare quality management.
