Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Instrumentation Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.
Responsibilities
- Performs calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, test measurement and diagnostic equipment to support the testing requirement of the lab
- Troubleshooting - performing necessary steps to fix faulty test equipment. Troubleshoot wiring and computer problems
- Data Collection - Capture necessary information of the maintenance of test equipment. such as pressure transducers, strain gauges and flow meters
- Prepare calibration and data reports
- Instrumentation: equipment software used in the control and automation of test setups
- Power, connection, communication requirements of data acquisition
Skills / Qualifications
- Comprehensive mechanical experience
- Interactions with clients
- Able to completely intermediate technical and mechanical procedures
- MS Office and Data Acquisition Hardware skills
- Able to use all standard and complex instrumentation; temperature probes, thermocouples, pressure transducers and accelerometers
- Daisy Lab software experience
- NI hardware/software
- HS Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred
