Pay: $170,000 - $185,000 per year

Shift:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat dental health ailments for patients of all ages.
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other dental procedures.
- Work closely with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient health and satisfaction.
Team Collaboration & Supervision:
- Supervise and collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in day-to-day operations.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to dental support staff to ensure a high level of care and service.
- Foster a positive team environment and adhere to organizational values.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Accurately record patient evaluations and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Ensure adherence to infection control and exposure protocols.
- Lock completed notes within three days of treatment.
- Participate in the annual continuing dental education process to stay current with best practices.
Referral & Specialized Care:
- Refer patients to specialists as necessary based on their care needs.
- Adhere to all relevant New York State dental regulations and the Dental Practice Act.
Community & Organizational Engagement:
- Contribute to efforts aimed at improving healthcare access in underserved communities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, in line with Oak Orchards health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
- Completion of General Practice Residency as required by New York State.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general dentistry.
