Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Addressing every blueprint and drawing with scrutiny for seamless operations.
- Engaging in the careful selection and verification of materials per job requirements.
- Executing forklift tasks post-certification, ensuring safety at every turn.
- Deploying inspection equipment to uphold ISO standards.
- Participating in maintaining Argon’s quality-driven policies.
- Providing basic yet crucial machine care while reporting any anomalies.
- Delivering customer-specific tasks under strict timeframes.
- Adopting a proactive stance against potential operational hitches.
- Managing the categorization and documentation of parts efficiently.
- Embracing cleanliness standards in workplace upkeep.
Expertise in Welding:
- Internalizing all procedures pertinent to MIG welding within the department, meeting customer and AWS standards.
- Possessing a multifaceted skill set to weld varied materials effectively.
- Interpreting weld instructions and ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
- Optimizing workflow by refining setup processes and weld sequences.
- Tackling prototype and intricate welding assignments adeptly.
- Works closely with sales, examining job feasibility and structuring processes.
- Engage in designing intricate welding fixtures and templates.
- Precision in choosing wire rods aligning with client demands.
- Calibrating machines correctly to align with job prerequisites.
- Sharing knowledge through training programs for peers.
- Undertaking all related responsibilities to enhance department success.
Desirable Accreditations:
- AWS certification, CWI, experience in robotic programming
Essential Qualifications:
- Driven by excellence and integrity in fulfilling customer needs.
- Punctual, organized, and reliable in all undertakings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Extensive experience in welding plus understanding complex blueprints.
- Possession of personal welding tools is necessary.
- Able to handle lifting duties up to 40-lbs.
- Commitment to a three-month probationary period is required.
