Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

- As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group (TSG), you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, demonstrating, producing, assembling, testing, and delivering torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies.

- Designing and analyzing components and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Creating and managing bills of material (BOM) within Progeny's data management systems
- Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts.
- Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides documenting design progress
- Participating in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
- Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.

- Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
