Advanced Imaging Authorization Specialist - Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic

Full-Time Position - Raleigh Office. The Advanced Imaging Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining insurance authorization and scheduling all MRI and diagnostic tests ordered by our providers. This position will provide cost estimates to MRI patients scheduled at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic including deductible and co-insurance amounts.

Position requires experience in medical practice setting with orthopaedics background preferred. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must be able to use critical thinking and multi-tasking skills to excel in a fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail is required. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills via phone with patients and insurance payers.
