We are looking for a Project Manager for our plant network initiatives. In this role, you will lead the equipment purchasing process for large CapEx projects, drive out cost and complexity in our operations and be involved in New Product Launches. Be a part of our growth for the next 100 years!
- 4-year Engineering Degree
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience overseeing justification, design, fabrication, and installation of major equipment
- Ability to travel 20% or as needed to support projects

- Oversee multiple, multi-plant projects simultaneously, each ranging from $200k - $1M
- Identify emerging technologies and assess opportunities that impact the business
- Evaluate global equipment vendors to determine best strategic alignment with capital plans
- Develop alternatives and propose solutions for optimizing the manufacturing network, including opportunities across business divisions
- Determine shared capacity utilization across the network. Lead production shifts between plants to address shortfalls.
- Lead local project managers in creating project scope, project budgets and scheduling of projects to maintain adherence to each.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Provide independent leadership for project teams that include product engineering, marketing, human resources, finance, legal, supply chain, and operations
- Develop financial analyses that include the one-time spending and on-going cost optimization of material consumption, labor usage, overhead, and freight costs
- Establish specifications for capital equipment and follow up as necessary with on-site inspections to ensure conformance.
- Generate business cases targeting executive-level decision makers for capital projects
- Coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
- Perform other related duties as required
