As an Advanced Electrical Engineer at Honeywell UOP, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing cutting-edge products and systems as part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team. In this role, you will drive electrical design methodologies and influence project directions by leveraging advanced tools and simulation techniques. As a technical expert, you will oversee all electrical engineering tasks throughout the project lifecycle, including equipment requisitions, technical evaluations, design reviews, and inspections. You will act as the primary liaison between Honeywell UOP, suppliers, and customers, ensuring that all electrical equipment meets rigorous specifications and industry standards.

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,400 - $120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee all electrical engineering tasks throughout project lifecycles, from initial concept to implementation. This includes generating equipment requisitions, conducting comprehensive technical bid evaluation, review detail design documents/drawings, and inspection.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Honeywell UOP, suppliers, and customers. Ensure that electrical equipment meets specifications and standards by leading technical bid evaluations, assisting in supplier selection, and coordinating with suppliers during the fabrication phase.
• Participate in supplier shop inspections for key project milestones, ensuring that fabrication processes meet Honeywell UOP’s rigorous standards. Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during critical inspection points.
• Continuously identify and implement new methodologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and performance in electrical engineering tasks.
• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed technical reports, documentation, and engineering specifications throughout the project. Ensure all documents meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with all members of the project team including quality assurance, piping, instrument, process, and structural designers, purchasing personnel, and project managers to meet project requirements for Instrument equipment.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 3+ Years’ experience generating requisitions for various types of Electrical equipment such as Motors, panelboard, transformers, Lighting, and Heat Tracing
WE VALUE:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive working knowledge of electrical area classification and various protection techniques for electrical equipment.
• Experience in Instrumentation and control (prepare Instrument index, prepare instrument datasheets, cause and effect diagrams, I/O list).
• Familiarity with 3-D Model Design, Conduit/Tray Routing, Mechanical Support and Installation Details.
• Professional engineer license.
