Immediate opportunities are available for talented Auto-Casing Setup Operator who want to become part of the Johnson Controls team. The Auto-Casing Setup Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating automated casing machinery used in the production process. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while ensuring efficient machine operation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

What You’ll Do:
- Read, communicate, and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions, handles material to and from workstation, and gets workstation and equipment ready for production.
- Troubleshoots to identify problems, communicates problems to Maintenance and Tool and Die people, and assists with repairs.
- Operate and monitor the casing machine during production to ensure consistent and high-quality output. Monitor scrap and ensure it is being properly injected from the casing line.
- Record any product or machine deviations and take corrective action as necessary to maintain production standards.
- Operates small presses and/or some assembler work with air tools.
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus).
- Previous experience in machine operation or setup, preferably in automated casing or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and production specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and machinery maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Ability to stand, bend, stair climb, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Capability to work in various industrial conditions (e.g., noise, heat, etc.)
