About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our inpatient psychiatric population. Your duties will include conducting physical assessments, prescribing treatment plans, participating in admissions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and promoting health maintenance among our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough physical assessments and prescribing appropriate treatments for inpatient psychiatric patients.
Collaborating with the admissions process and contributing to comprehensive treatment planning.
Working as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Promoting health maintenance initiatives tailored to the psychiatric population.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in adult health care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Mandatory Certifications:
Advanced Practice Nursing License.
New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license.
USA Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certificate.
Experience Requirements:
Current and valid certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, in the adult health category.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM.
Lunch period: 1 hour.
Additional Information:
Work Location: Office/hospital (with potential for remote work).
Background verification will be conducted by the department for the selected candidate, as processed and coordinated by APH HR.
Employment Type: Contractor
Salary: $ 85.00 Per Hour
