Responsibilities
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Support and reinforce company policies, procedures, and work practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to release new products and optimize processes.
- Design, build, program, debug, and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze and set up optimized product flow using standard work practices.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and initiate corrective actions through work orders.
- Lead cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform and document PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) studies.
- Execute mechanical assembly and utilize hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Manage production schedules and materials to meet customer demands.
- Conduct line studies and validations to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain new manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Prepare and present validation reports and data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturing regulations and standards.
- Oversee supplier and contract manufacturer (CM) performance to meet quality and productivity goals.
- Address and resolve technical issues impacting performance, cost, or timelines.
- Lead advanced manufacturing engineering projects and continuous improvement plans.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, including hands-on plant floor involvement.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- Expertise with manufacturing equipment and processes, with a willingness to be hands-on.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or expirations.
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
