Adult Services Supervisor
Position Summary:The Adult Services Supervisor will provide clinical skills instructions and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis for adults with developmental disabilities in the community, group home setting, AFHA setting and crisis home setting. AS Supervisor will report to an assigned BCBA and will directly supervise Adult Services Coordinators working 1:1 directly with clients, providing training, providing consultation services, implementing behavior intervention plans, graphing data and writing reports. This person will participate in team meetings, and assist BMS Directors with clinical tasks. Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years experiences with Adult Services, group homes, etc.
1 year experience in a Supervisory role preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
RBT certificate required
Must have a valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance (under your name)
Must be willing to travel between assigned clients
Must pass finger printing/background check
Must pass TB test and provide clearance
Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday during business hours (8a-7p) and Saturday (8a-2p) when needed
Ability to accept constructive feedback
Effective time management skills and ability to complete tasks on time
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and their family members, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.
Ability to abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
Responsibilities
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisitions and behavioral reduction protocols written by the BCBA
Consult and communicate regularly with the BCBA on any new or existing treatment plans or recommendations
Communicate and implement treatment plans and/or recommendations to Adult Services Coordinators
Monitor Adult Services Coordinators for efficiency and proper implementation of treatment
Maintain all records (data, sign in sheets, session notes) and
Coordinate EOM filing with the BCBA
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior, prescribed interventions, and protocols
Assist with 1:1 group home staff and AFHA (Adult Family Home Agency) caregiver training in line with client’s individual treatment and behavior reduction protocol
Effectively communicate with 1:1 staff, AFHA caregivers and paraprofessionals regarding clients progress as instructed by BMS
Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures with client
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws
Maintain a clean and safe organized work and therapy environment; report any unsafe work conditions immediately to the BCBA and/or the Director
Collaborate with the treatment team including the client, AFHA caregivers, group home staff, outside professionals, co-workers, and supervisors.
Attend on-going trainings and development meetings as it relates to clinical skill, professional development, ethics, and technology, in order to perform job responsibilities to required standards
